When does the city pick up yard waste?

Every Monday, beginning the 1st Monday in April through the 1st Monday in December, the Blue Yard Waste Totes are picked up.

My water needs turned on / was turned off how much is the charge?

2026 Rates now specifiy that to water to have water turned on or off there will be a $50 charge added to your monthly water bill.

If your water was turned off due to non-payment the $50.00 must be paid along with the amount owed before being reconnected.

Where do i sign up for Branch pick up?

Every 3rd Monday, running from April through November, Branches are picked up. Branches must be placed at the curb. Please call City Services at (605) 892-2674 to have your address placed on the list or Click Here to be taken to the site to sign up online.

What is the charge for Card transactions vs E-Check

When selecting a credit or debt card you account will be charged 3.95% of your total bill.

When selecting e-check you will be charged a fee of $1.95

fees will be charged per transaction per account

My garbage or yard waste day falls on a holiday when will it be picked up?

If your garbage/yard waste collection day falls on a holiday, your pickup shall be the next business day.

Who receives the money from the processing fee?

The processing fee is a charge set by the bank and there for goes straight to the bank the city does not recieve theses funds.
